"It’s been almost two years since I met Nicola Tarry and joined her then new, vocational programme. There isn’t space here to fully explain what a phenomenon she is or what it means to be part of her gang but, on my last day, it feels only right to share a little of it;
Nic demands strength, progress, and a lot of perspiration. She teaches not just the work, but what it is to really work. She has changed me, broadly and permanently in that regard. 
Outward looking and altruistic, she repeatedly encouraged me to chase opportunities far beyond her studio: ESB, Prix, YAGP, ABT- all of those within her term time and some requiring a lot of prep, but nevertheless she wanted them for me. As I went out to those sometimes daunting experiences, I felt her strong belief in my abilities and was comforted that, sink or swim, I would always be welcomed back. 

Nic is rare. Incredibly funny, fiercely protective, wonderfuly collaborative, brutally honest, and above all, kind to the core.
So, although it’s my last day I can’t bare to say goodbye, just thank you, and see you soon". ​

Dancer who joined the Nicola Tarry Vocational programme in September 2023, travelling in from London daily, and has achieved Year 12 offers to leading company schools in the UK, Europe and the USA.
